Japan keep monitoring forex market

Today(Tue,7-Jun) when the US dollar fell down to below 80 Japanese Yen, Japanese finance Minister Yoshihiko Noda said that he will monitor the forex market closely.
Yoshihiko had attended a cabinet meeting today and after that on the press conference, he said people’s expection on the US market have effect the market and he will pay close attention to the trends of foreign exchange market.
For the first time after 5-May, USD had fell below 80 JPY. This may more people worry about Amareican economic. The Federal Reserve Board, or FED will try to maintain a low interest rate, this may make the USD still be an attractive funding currency.
